Hidroelectrica will secure a $154 million loan, Bloomberg reports. The loan will be provided by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

The Romanian hydropower generator will use the capital to fund the upgrade of one of its hydropower plants. Hidroelectrica is a state-owned company and its shares are being held by the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Business Environment.
