JP Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) has appointed James Gearin as COO of its retirement plan services (RPS) business. Based in Overland Park, Kansas, he will report to David Musto, CEO of JP Morgan Retirement Plan Services. Gearin will be in charge of overall strategic direction and execution of the JP Morgan RPS business operations. Most recently, he was working with consulting group Knowledgent, where he led its retirement practice.
