Gruma has sold its stake in lender Grupo Financiero Banorte for a total of $667.8 million, Bloomberg reports. The Mexican maker of corn flour for tortillas sold 161.4 million shares at $4.2 per share.

The underwriters can buy the shares through an overallotment option, called the greenshoe, to boost the total to 177.5 million shares. Including the overallotment, the sale will represent 8.8% of the common shares in Banorte.
