Macquarie Group has appointed David Fass as CEO for Europe the Middle East and Africa, Financial News reports. In his new role, Fass will head a 1,550 team across 18 offices in 13 countries.
He will succeed Benoit Savoret, who has stepped down from his role. Prior to this, Fass served as head of European global banking at Deutsche Bank until October 2009. He has also worked with Chase Manhattan on the leveraged finance and high-yield capital markets businesses.
