Spanish bank, Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA), and a unit of China’s CITIC Group, CITIC Carbon Asset Management, are planning to unveil a new equity index, Reuters reports. The new index will be based on resources-related companies picked by commodities investment analyst, Jim Rogers. The Rogers Global Resources Equity Index will comprise 200 stocks in five sub-sectors, including agriculture, alternative energy, forestry, energy and metals and mining. BBVA will be the sole product provider.
