The Chicago Policemen’s Annuity & Benefit Fund is planning to launch a fiduciary and governance review, Pensions & Investments reports. The benefit fund will issue a request for information next month to seek a firm for the audit.
The fund’s trustees voted to authorize CIO Samuel Kunz to review the array of firms qualified to conduct an audit of the fund’s investment processes. Depending on the initial research results, the firm will issue a formal request for proposal (RFP) later in 2011.
