Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) has re-engineered its algorithmic trading strategy Instinct. The strategy is used by institutional equity clients to improve and optimize their trading results. Instinct brings five urgency levels to meet a range of trading objectives and uses a quantitative impact model that refines rules on an order-specific basis. Its underlying architecture has been completely changed.
