ASX Hires Fidessa For Routing Trading App

The Australian Stock Exchange has entered an agreement with Fidessa.

The Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) has entered an agreement with Fidessa, Finextra reports. The operator has hired the U.K. vendor to help create a co-located smart order routing trading application for the new multi-market environment.

The ASX Best smart order routing application is expected to be launched later this year. The router will be co-located in a new ASX data centre due to be commissioned later this year and distributed to users around the country through its high capacity fibre network ASX Net.
