Bank of America (BofA) has appointed Paul Simpson as head of its global treasury solutions, The Wall Street Journal repots. In his new role, Simpson will work closely with executives within the bank, who cover commercial, corporate and investment banking to provide cash management and trade services to large corporate and middle-market clients. Based in New York, Simpson will be reporting to head of global corporate banking, Paul Donofrio, but will also be accountable to president of global commercial banking, David Darnell. Simpsons is coming from Citigroup, where he was head of the treasury and trade-solutions business within Citi’s Global Transaction Services division.
