As per Hedge Fund Research, the second quarter of the fiscal year has seen global hedge fund assets rising to $2.04 trillion, The Wall Street Journal reports. Investors allocated new capital worth $30 billion in spite of volatile markets.
Investors contributed $20 billion to macro and relative value funds. Systemic quantitative funds received $10 billion of fresh capitalization. Investments in the first quarter were $32 billion.
