BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking options for the company, including a possible sale, The Wall Street Journal reports. The U.S. warehouse club chain had previously appointed Morgan Stanley to advise it on alternatives.
The Massachusetts-based company hired the investment bank after receiving an offer from private-equity firm Leonard Green & Partners, adds Bloomberg. California-based Leonard Green is considering a hostile bid for the retailer.
