Hamon Investment Group has appointed Raymond Chan as managing director and CIO, Asian Investor reports. In his newly created role, he will work under Hugh Simon, CEO and founder of Hamon, which is an affiliate of BNY Mellon. Based in Hong Kong, Chan will be in charge of Hamon’s overall investment strategy focusing on wealth creation and optimized financial returns. Chan is rejoining Hamon, after working as a fund manager for four years until 2003, from Amundi in Hong Kong where was an investment director.
