UBS has appointed Mike Stewart as co-head of global equities, The Wall Street Journal reports. He will succeed Yassine Bouhara, who will become CEO of emerging markets for the investment bank.
Stewart will work alongside another co-head Francois Gouws and will also become head of securities in the Americas. The duo will work under Carsten Kengeter, CEO of the investment bank. Stewart was previously associated with Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
