Credit Suisse has appointed Marcel Kreis as Chairman of its private banking unit in the Asia Pacific region. He was previously serving as the bank’s head of private banking for the region.
He will be replaced by Francesco de Ferrari, who will relocate to Asia Pacific on Aug. 1, 2011. Ferrari, who was previously serving as head of private banking for the Swiss bank in Italy, will now be based in Singapore. He will report to Walter Berchtold, CEO private banking and Osama Abbasi, CEO Asia Pacific.
