Gary Klesch is seeking to acquire Total’s Lindsey oil refinery in the U.K., The Telegraph reports. Klesch Group, which is in talks with the French oil giant, is expected to pay between £1.5 billion and £2 billion for the Lindsey assets. Other assets in the deal include a rail freight business, a plant in Preston and a back office in Watford. The transaction will add 1,500 employees to Klesch’s current 3,000 employees and boost revenues by a further £6.1 billion a year.
