Oklahoma Teachers’ Retirement System has re-appointed JP Morgan Chase as its custodial bank and securities lending agent, Pensions & Investments reports. The system has renewed its five-year contract with the firm. Other contenders for the custodian mandate were State Street, BNY Mellon and Northern Trust. Separately, the retirement system has put its two international equity managers, Capital Guardian and Brandes Investment Partners on notice. Oklahoma Teachers could issue an RFP if the performance of the managers is not improved.
