Ex-StanChart O&G Banker Joins Citi

Citigroup has appointed Martin Lovegrove as chairman of its global energy business.

Citigroup has appointed Martin Lovegrove as chairman of its global energy business, Financial News reports. He will be responsible for relations with senior clients and advise companies on upstream oil and gas mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. In his new role, Lovegrove will be based in London. He is joining the bank from Standard Chartered, where he had worked alongside the head oil and gas advisory business of the firm, Kevin Smith.
