Private equity fund manager Europa Capital has purchased the Mall of Sofia located in Dublin for over €100 million, Irish Times reports. The shopping centre was previously owned by property investment firms Avestus Capital Partners and GE Real Estate.
The partners had originally bought the property for €80 million. Avestus will continue to manage the property post its sale. The acquisition was funded by Hungarian commercial bank OTP and its Bulgarian unit DSK. CMS Cameron McKenna, while CB Richard Ellis / MBL advised Europa Capital on the deal, adds Property Week.
