Wells Fargo has made three senior appointments. The U.S. home lender has appointed Avid Modjtabai as senior executive vice president and head of its new consumer-lending business, while Kevin Rhein has been promoted to the position of senior executive vice president, CIO and head of the enterprise-wide technology and operations group.
Rhein was previously working as executive vice president and head of Wells Fargo’s Card Services and Consumer Lending group. In their new roles, the duo will work under John Stumpf, Wells Fargo’s Chairman and CEO. The firm has also named Mike Heid as president of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, based in Des Moines, Iowa. He will be reporting directly to Modjtabai.
