UniCredit has selected three potential bidders to review the financial data of its unit, Pioneer Global Asset Management, Bloomberg reports. The Italian bank discussed a possible partnership for Pioneer with at least seven firms and picked firms, including Paris-based Natixis and Amundi, an asset-management venture of Credit Agricole and Societe Generale. The non-binding offers of the three bidders mostly involve shares, while the bank may let additional bidders carry out due diligence on Pioneer if they improve their proposals. Minneapolis-based money manager and insurer, Ameriprise Financial, may also place a bid for Pioneer.
