HSBC Bank Canada has appointed Jeff Allsop as head of global banking, Reuters reports. In his new position, he will be responsible for coverage of major Canadian pension funds.
Allsop has succeeded Jim Mahaffy, formerly co-head of global banking, who has become vice-chairman of global banking, Canada. Previously, Allsop was heading HSBC’s global infrastructure fund coverage in London.
