First Reserve has promoted five heads from its investment team and three in its accounting group. The firm has named Jeffrey Quake, who joined the firm in 2005 as managing director and Edward Bialas, who joined First Reserve in 2003, as director. The private investment firm has also appointed Michael France, who joined in 2007, Dod Wales, who joined in 2004, and Neil Wizel, who came to the firm in 2007, as directors. All the professional are responsible for deal origination and structuring to due diligence, execution and monitoring, with particular emphasis on different sectors.
