Mercer has appointed Russell Lee as senior consultant in its financial strategy group business. Based in London, Lee will be responsible for advising clients on non-cash funding for defined benefit plans and capital-efficient funding strategies for bank and insurer pension plans. Most recently, he served as principal at QED Equity in Dublin. Prior to that, Lee was a senior manager at Allied Irish Banks, where he managed the alternative investment business within capital markets.
