Global advisory firm Altius Associates has been appointed by Frankfort-based Kentucky Retirement Systems as private equity consultant, Pensions & Investments reports. Altius will review the system’s $1.8 billion private equity program to assess the changes required.
The $14 billion pension fund had floated a request for proposal (RFP) from consultants in May. Altius has been appointed in place of Strategic Investment Solutions, an independent institutional investment consultant. Strategic Investment had re-bid for the mandate.
