Iowa Public Employees’ Retirement System (IPERS) has issued an RFP for an actuarial consulting firm, Pensions & Investments reports. The incumbent firm, Cavanaugh Macdonald Consulting, whose agreement expires June 30, can rebid.
The selected firm will be required to provide fee proposals for an asset-liability study among other consulting services. The proposals are due on Feb. 18, 2011 and the $21.1 billion system expects to make a decision by March 25, 2011.
