Russian stock exchange, Micex, has appointed Mikhail Sukhobok as vice president, Emerging Markets reports. In his new role, he will manage the bourse’s planned merger with Russian securities trading floor, RTS.
Previously, Sukhobok was working with Otkritie, which he joined in 1997. He held top managerial roles at the Moscow-based firm until his departure, serving as head of strategy in 2010-2011. He also became a member of the Micex board from 2005 to 2007.
