Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. (MassMutual) has appointed Michael Doshier as vice president and head of external markets for its retirement services division. He will be heading the unit’s efforts in plan sponsor marketing, adviser marketing and competitive insights.
Doshier reports to E. Heather Smiley, chief marketing officer for MassMutual’s retirement services unit. Before joining MassMutual’s subsidiary MassMutual Retirement Services, Doshier served at financial services provider Fidelity Investment as vice president of marketing and managed integrated marketing plans for the firm’s retirement operations.
