U.S. private equity firms Bain Capital and Carlyle Group and London-based Pamplona Capital Management are bidding for TI Automotive, Reuters reports. The auction of the auto parts supplier is expected to fetch nearly $1.5 billion.
The final bids for TI Automotive are expected in October. Meanwhile, Carlyle is also seeking to acquire another U.S. auto parts supplier Cooper Standard.
