John Thorndike has been appointed by global investment bank Moelis & Co. to focus on large power company customers, Reuters reports. Utility sector banker Thorndike was managing director with financial services firm Credit Suisse Group for five years.
Previously, Thorndike had worked with financial management and advisory firm Merrill Lynch & Co. and global financial services firm Morgan Stanley. He has also served on deals for many companies, including electricity company TXU Energy Retail Co., energy services provider Exelon Corp. and Allentown-based PPL Corp. among others.
