Goldman Sachs has named five partners in Australia and also appointed Simon Rothery as sole CEO for the region, Bloomberg reports. Rothery along with the co-heads of investment banking James McMurdo and Christian Johnston have become partners. The bank has also appointed Andrew Rennie, head of equities, and Anthony Miller from the financing group as partners. Additionally, Stephen Fitzgerald, a member of Goldman Sachs’ Asia management committee and formerly co-CEO in Australia, has been named Chairman and advisory director of the business.
