WisdomTree Investments will launch a new actively managed Asia bond fund, covering 12 countries, including China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, New Zealand and Australia, Index Universe reports. The WisdomTree Asia Local Debt Fund will also be denominated in local currency. The vehicle does not use a benchmark and its constituents are chosen by a WisdomTree investment committee focused on a number of parameters in a given country, such as liquidity, debt-to-GDP ratio, foreign reserves, inflation and unemployment. WisdomTree will also market two other local debt funds, the Latin America Fund and the EMEA Bond Fund.
