The Investment Company Institute (ICI) has set up a London-based trade association ICI Global targeting globally active funds, Global Pensions reports. Dan Waters, who directed asset management policy at the U.K. Financial Services Authority for 12 years, will be managing director of ICI Global. The groups joining ICI Global include Capital Research and Management, Federated Investors Funds, Franklin Templeton Investments, Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Pimco Funds, T. Rowe Price, Threadneedle and Vanguard. Jamie Broderick, head of JPMorgan Asset Management in Europe, has been appointed chairman of the steering committee.
