Private bank and wealth manager, Investec, has appointed David Gracey to head its currency and derivatives trading team in South Africa. Gracey has succeeded Grant Barrow, who will head Investec’s new clearing division. Previously, Gracey was the head of foreign-exchange trading at Nedbank Capital, the securities unit of South Africa’s bank. Nedbank is not seeking to appoint a successor for him.
