The first structured product investment platform Structured Products Go (SPGO) has been launched in the U.K., Financial Times reports. Through SPGO, professional investors can find, analyze, monitor and execute trades in structured products from a wide range of product providers, all in one online location.
Ben Murison, previously Royal Bank of Scotland vice-president of structured products for the U.K., and Phil Taylor, former Barclays Capital structured product specialist, unveiled the platform. They developed SPGO in-house with Citigroup, Gilliat Financial Solutions, Jubilee Financial Products, Morgan Stanley, Nomura Holdings, Royal Bank of Scotland and Societe Generale Group. These companies already use products available through the platform.
