Georgia has raised $500 million in a debt issue through its finance ministry.

Georgia has raised $500 million in a debt issue through its finance ministry, Reuters reports. The European republic sold 6.875% notes in the 144a private placement market.

The joint bookrunning managers were Goldman Sachs International and JP Morgan Securities. The securities are due to mature on April 12, 2021.
