Emerging Global Advisors (EGA) has rolled out an emerging markets consumer fund. The EG Shares India Consumer ETF is benchmarked against the INDXX India Consumer Index, adds Index Universe. The portfolio’s stocks are listed on India’s National and Bombay stock exchanges, while a few can be held directly by U.S. investors. The New York City-based independent investment advisory firm is sub-adviser to the EGShares range of ETFs.
