Evolution Securities has hired Patric Johnson as head of distribution in its sales and trading division, Financial News reports. He was previously COO at Icap Equities for Europe and Asia. Johnson, who worked alongside co-heads of equities Daryl Bowden and Glenn Poulter, left Icap in July 2010 after it closed its cash equities businesses. Johnson has also held senior positions at MIS Equities, Archipelago Europe, Thomson Reuters and Standard & Poor’s Research, adds NASDAQ.
