National Australia Bank (NAB) has hired Ken Henry as a non-executive director, Reuters reports. Recently, he retired as treasury secretary in March this year after 10 years as the head of the government’s key economic department.
Henry is currently an economic adviser for Julia Eileen Gillard’s government and is leading an analysis of Australia’s financial relationship with Asia. Previously, he has served at the Australian Bureau of Statistics and New Zealand’s University of Canterbury.
