U.K. investment manager, Ecofin, has launched a new Ucits-compliant strategy, HFMWeek reports. The Ecofin Global Long/Short Ucits fund invests in the utility, infrastructure, alternative energy and energy sectors. The portfolio focuses on companies domiciled in Europe, North America and to a limited extent in emerging market countries, including Russia. The Ecofin Global Long/Short Ucits fund is offered in the U.S. dollar, Euro and Pound denominations and has four share classes.
