Glencore International has appointed eight banks to manage its planned London stock market listing, The Telegraph reports. Goldman Sachs and Bank of America Merrill Lynch may be among the new five banks appointed along with the existing three core advisers, Citigroup, Credit Suisse and Morgan Stanley. The Switzerland-based mineral and trading company is seeking to raise about £7-8 billion of new funding from the offering. The fundraising is expected to start by April 18, 2011.
