MF Global Holdings has appointed Richard Moore as regional CEO and managing director of Europe. Effective from April 1, Moore will be responsible for developing the firm’s pan-European growth strategy and overall business activities in the region. He will also be a member of the global management committee and the European board of directors.

In his new role, Moore will replace Charles Pendred, who has been serving as interim managing director of Europe since October 2010. Moore is joining the U.S. global financial derivatives broker from Citigroup, where he was fixed income head.
