U.K. buyout firm, Duke Street, has acquired a majority interest in U.K. Wealth Management (UKWM), The Wall Street Journal reports. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. London-based Duke Street intends to use UKWM as a platform company to drive consolidation in the sector. UKWM has 38 advisers across five advisory firms within the group, in addition to an asset management company and pension administration companies, adds Money Marketing.
