Manulife Asset Management has appointed Jean-Francois Tessier as managing director (MD), institutional sales. Based at the firm’s Montreal office, he will manage institutional sales and relationship management in Quebec, Ottawa and Eastern Canada. Most recently, Tessier was with Natcan Investment Management as vice president for institutional services. He has also worked at TAL Global Asset Management, Gestion Ferique and GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals.
