Brooks Macdonald will roll out a retail funds business, What Investment reports. The new division will be managed by Simon Wombwell, who was recently appointed by the wealth manager.
He joined as non-executive director from Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, where he was head of sales and marketing. Brooks Macdonald’s new fund range will initially be made up of Braemar funds that the firm acquired last July, along with four of its existing funds.
