The University of Kansas’ endowment obtained $153.2 million in contributions and pledges in the last fiscal year, The Republic reports. The gifts included $114.2 million in gifts and pledges and $39 million in deferred commitments.
The total for the fiscal year ended June 30 comprised gifts, pledges and future commitments to the university and the University of Kansas Hospital. In the previous fiscal year, the endowment raised $112.1 million in gifts and pledges and $10.3 million in deferred gifts.
