The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has made new investments in Comcast, The Wall Street Journal reports. The charitable foundation owns almost 945,000 shares of the cable and entertainment firm and a small position in its widely traded shares.
The Gates foundation also owns an interest in Mexican cement company Cemex’s shares and in media company Liberty Global. Holdings in railroad company CSX have been increased, whereas the foundation sold its position in M&T Bank.
