Global institutional trading network Liquidnet has boosted its board with the appointment of Lawrence Bacow, Roel Campos and Barbara Thomas Judge. Bacow is an economist, attorney and former president of the Tufts University, Campos is a former commissioner of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Thomas Judge an international banker and lawyer who has served in regulatory roles in both the U.K and the U.S, including as a former SEC commissioner.
Established in 2001, Liquidnet connects equity investors with the liquidity they need. The move to add directors follows the expansion of the company’s model to an increasing number of global markets. The company currently trades in 39 equity markets for firms that manage a total $12.5 trillion in assets.
