TA Associates has expanded its London investment team with the appointment of Dietrich Hauptmeier. He has joined as senior vice president and will concentrate on growth equity investments, recapitalizations and management-led buyouts in Germany and other European markets.
Before joining the private equity firm, Hauptmeier was with Palamon Capital Partners. He was working as an associate principal originating, evaluating and executing investments, primarily in Germany, in the financial services, environmental services, healthcare, retail and education sectors.
