Energy-focused private equity firm, First Reserve, has appointed James Berner as director on its energy-infrastructure team. Adi Blum and Mark Saxe have been appointed as vice presidents, and will be responsible for investment origination, structuring, due diligence, and execution and monitoring for the team.
Berner joins from General Electric Capital Energy Financial Services, and has earlier worked at Deutsche Bank, Siemens and the U.S. Export-Import Bank. Saxe joins from Loews, while Blum was most recently a vice president at middle market private equity firm, High Road Capital Partners.
