Connecticut Retirement Plans & Trust Funds CIO, Timothy Corbett, is stepping down from his role, effective May 20, 2011. Corbett will join Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance as executive vice president and CIO.
Corbett will join MassMutual on May 23, where he will be in charge of the firm’s overall investment strategy, as well as oversight of its general investment account. He has served as CIO and head of the treasurer’s pension funds management unit since July 2009.
